Organizations that have received grants from the Golden Civic Foundation impact nearly everyone living in Golden and beyond.  We are proud of the investments in our community and the significance we’ve all enjoyed because of them.

  • A Little Help-To replace trailer supplies and purchase welcome bags for Golden’s seniors.

  • Bell Middle School-To help cover the cost of Bell Middle School’s new Visual and Design Arts Class.

  • Buffalo Bill Days-Help to pay for electricity and lighting at the annual Buffalo Bill Days.

  • CASA of Jefferson and Gilpin Counties-Support purchasing furniture for CASA’s Youth Alliance Program’s apartments that support Golden’s young adults that have aged out of foster care.

  • Christian Action Guild and BGOLDN-Support a collaboration project to strengthen the food supply chain and reduce costs for the food pantry system in Golden.

  • City of Golden, Golden Community Center-Pay for admissions for Golden residents at the annual “Marv Kay Come & Play Free Day” at the Golden Community Center.

  • Colorado Cowboy Gathering-To compensate cowboy artists for providing in-person sessions on history and music to local Golden schools during the week of the Colorado Cowboy Gathering.

  • Colorado Fourteeners Initiative-Purchase three metal bearproof and waterproof boxes.

  • Colorado Mountain Club-Support the Colorado Mountain Club’s Youth Program’s (YP) summer internship program.

  • Colorado Railroad Museum-Help install paved walkways on the Colorado Railroad Museum campus for increased accessibility for all.

  • Continental Divide Trail Coalition-Support the Continental Divide Trail Coalition’s strategic visioning process in 2023 to develop long-term planning for the organization’s next five years.

  • Foothills Animal Shelter-Organizational grant to train the Foothills Animal Shelter’s managerial and supervisory staff to operate at the highest possible level in order to retain staff, provide professional growth, and ultimately better serve the Golden Community.

  • Foothills Art Center-Purchase one kiln for the Foothills Art Center’s new kiln room, located in their new Creative Campus.

  • Friends of Dinosaur Ridge-Support the painting of railings and various metal structures as well as to replace a track covering on the Triceratops Trail.

  • GoFarm-Support maintenance, fuel and other expenses related to the GoFarm’s Mobile Food Market.

  • Golden Bicycle eXperience (GBX)-Provide scholarships to 10 deserving children in the next year of the GBX program cycle.

  • Golden High School PTA After Prom-Purchase giveaway prizes for GHS students to encourage them to stay at the After Prom event.

  • Golden History Museum & Park-Provide improvements for the summer youth program Silent Stars, including purchase of two iPads, cases, tripods, new props and costumes.

  • Golden Landmarks Association, Inc.-Purchase framing and archiving supplies.

  • Golden Police Department-Support purchasing items needed for the GPD’s National Night Out.

  • Golden Rotary Foundation-Purchase of passes to Golden Community Center for participants in the Rotary’s Golden Teen project.

  • Golden Schools Foundation-Support Golden Schools Foundation’s mental health and wellness support program, as well as support their credit recovery program in Golden’s articulation schools.

  • Golden Visitors & Information Center-Support a CRM Coach to develop the SalesForce platform so that they can better manage income streams and programs, track donations, including grants, and build relationships with constituents.

  • Golden Young Professionals-Support materials for the Golden Young Professional’s 3rd Annual Level Up Summit.

  • Hands of the Carpenter-Support Hands of the Carpenter’s two core automotive services programs that benefits working single mothers with dependent children in Golden.

  • Jefferson County Library Foundation-Purchase book prizes and incentives for the 2023 Library Summer Reading Challenge program at the Golden Library.

  • Kyffin Elementary School-Help provide additional opportunities for Kyffin Elementary School’s students’ experiential learning.

  • Mitchell Elementary School-Update classrooms with the purchase of additional interactive Mimio Boards at Mitchell Elementary School.

  • Outdoor Lab Foundation-Provide tuition assistance support for Golden’s 6th Grade Students at Outdoor Lab.

  • Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum-Purchase two new computers.

  • Shelton Elementary School-Support the construction of an accessible playground for Shelton Elementary to engage all students and community members.

  • The Golden Lions Club-Purchase tents and pub tables for our events and for the community to borrow.

  • Welchester Elementary School-Improve Welchester Elementary’s Early Learning playground with a concrete path so students can ride bicycles and have a flat surface for games.
